Drafters turn ideas into precise drawings that builders and machinists follow.
Drafters create technical drawings — sometimes by hand, often on a computer — that show exact sizes and angles. A drawing might detail every bolt hole on a machine part or every wall in a house. Even a small mistake in a length or angle can cause expensive rework on a job site. Strong geometry skills keep lines parallel, corners square, and scale consistent.
