Nova Star Command
Nova Star Command is the grades 3–6 mission hub where students practice mission planning, informational reading, archives, ethics, and navigation before launching into other worlds. It is not one of the nine planets. It sits inside Allen Girls Adventures’ 77-module, 385-lesson curriculum across math, reading, science, and social studies.

Learning at Nova Star Command
Nova Star Command is the central gateway hub of Allen Girls Adventures — the mission station among distant stars where Provisional Cadets receive briefings, train, check archives, and launch into other worlds. It is not one of the nine planets. It is the operational base above them: command, archive, training, communications, and permissioned interworld access under leaders such as Commander Aaliyah Carter and Professor Zyn.
For grades 3–6, Nova Star Command turns school skills into mission habits. Kids read a briefing for the main idea before countdown. They calculate cargo and fuel shares with multiplication and division. They practice ethics, rank responsibility, and clear communication — then drop from the station toward adventures below, including the mega-planet Elementia and its six elemental sectors.
Behind the docking bays and Nova Core sits the same Allen Girls Adventures spine used everywhere else: 77 standards-aligned modules and 385 lessons for grades 3–6. Nova Star Command simply frames that curriculum as mission systems — so goal-setting and source comparison feel like cadet work, not a worksheet pile.
Meet the sisters in this world
Natalia treats the briefing like a plan she must verify, not blindly obey. Alana spots inconsistencies between official records and what the team has already seen in other worlds. Maya notices when a hard order forgets the people it will affect. S.P.A.R.K. (he/him) — their Earth-engineered research companion — connects to station systems through a bounded compatibility interface: he supports scanning, navigation reminders, and research hints without replacing the sisters’ judgment or solving the moral choice for them.
How this world fits the curriculum
Nova Star Command belongs to the grades 3–6 path of 77 modules and 385 lessons. Learning domains here include mission systems, rank and training, archives, ethics, navigation, and communication — the knowledge potential named for this hub in the AGA World Index. Those skills appear across our Grade 3–6 curriculum pages and prepare kids to carry the same thinking into every primary world and into Elementia’s integrated STEM challenges.
Why this world matters
Kids need a home base in the sky as much as on Earth. Nova Star Command teaches that access comes with responsibility, that official records can be incomplete, and that teamwork plus clear thinking launch every good mission. Parents get a galactic HQ story; teachers get transferable planning, ethics, and informational-reading practice.
What your child learns here
STEM — Mission math & systems
Students calculate fuel, cargo, and fair shares across shuttle pods, then think in systems: if one bay fails, what else is affected? Multi-step math becomes launch prep for grades 3–6.
ELA — Briefings and archives
Mission briefings and archive files train main idea, key details, and comparing sources. Kids practice reading like cadets who must act on accurate information — and notice when a record might be incomplete.
Social studies — Ethics and access
Nova Star Command controls permissioned travel between worlds. Students explore responsibility, fairness, and the tension between following orders and acting with compassion — at a grade-3–6 level.
SEL — Rank, teamwork & calm under pressure
Rank progression (from Provisional Cadet upward) models growth through earned trust. Missions reward asking for help, sharing credit, and staying calm when the countdown is loud.
Life skills — Goal setting and communication
Cadets set a mission goal, split roles, report clearly, and revise the plan when new data arrives. Those habits transfer to school projects and family teamwork back Around The Way.
Skills spotlight
- Multi-step mission math: multiply, divide, and fair shares (Grade 3–5)
- Main idea and key details in briefings and archives (Grade 3–6 ELA)
- Comparing sources and noticing incomplete records (Grade 4–6)
- Ethics, responsibility, and permissioned access (Grade 3–6)
- Goal setting, clear reporting, and teamwork under time pressure (SEL / life skills)
Frequently asked questions
- Is Nova Star Command one of the nine planets?
- No. Canon treats Nova Star Command as the interworld command station, gateway, archive, and training hub. The nine planets are the eight primary adventure worlds plus Elementia. Cadets launch from the station into those worlds.
- What grades is Nova Star Command for?
- It is designed for grades 3–6 (roughly ages 8–12) and uses the same 77-module, 385-lesson Allen Girls Adventures curriculum spine as every other adventure environment.
- What does a child learn at Nova Star Command?
- Mission planning, informational reading, archives and source comparison, ethics, navigation thinking, rank responsibility, and teamwork — skills that transfer into every world they visit next.
- How does Nova Star Command connect to Elementia?
- Elementia is the mega-planet that sits in the gateway architecture beneath the hub. From Nova Star Command, the sisters can drop down into any of Elementia’s six elemental sectors — lands on one planet, not six separate planets.
